scorechecker is a scores app for the NHL, NBA, MLB and NFL. It shows you the score, the schedule, and the full box score once a game is final. That is the whole app.

Where can I get scorechecker?

scorechecker is live on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. The Android version is on its way to Google Play. Email us and we will let you know when it lands.

What data does the app collect?

Almost none. The app stores a few settings on your own device: whether you have completed the welcome screens, your dark or light theme choice, and your favorite teams. Nothing leaves your phone beyond a request to scorechecker.app for scores and schedules. Full detail is in the privacy policy.

Why are there no notifications?

scorechecker is not built to pull you back in. There are no alerts, no push notifications, and nothing trying to bring you back to the app. Check the score when you want to, and that is the whole interaction.

Why do box scores only appear after the game ends?

Live play by play and in-game stat tracking are exactly the kind of thing that keeps someone staring at their phone during a game. scorechecker shows the current score while a game is live, and unlocks the full box score once it is final.

Does scorechecker show betting odds or gambling content?

No. Never.

Is there an account or sign-in?

No. There is nothing to set up and nothing to sign into.

Which leagues and devices does it support?

NHL, NBA, MLB and NFL, on iPhone and iPad today, with Android on the way.
